Ruffa na-hurt sa pang-iisnab ni Tetay

JC tsugi sa Panday Kids, si Paulo ang kapalit

HERE is the full interview of Ruffa Gutierrez regarding sa controversial The Buzz episode last Sunday:

"I am reluctant to make a statement regarding such a small incident but since I feel the need to defend myself against unwanted rumors and ayoko na pong palakihin ito I will say my piece. First of all I hold Tito Boy (Abunda) and Kris (Aquino) in such high regard as professional mentors. Secondly, I wasn’t reacting to just the video clip shown wherein Kris remarked ‘aminin mo, mas masaya dito.’ Hindi naman po ako mababaw at pikon na tao. I always conduct myself as a professional to let small matters such as this bother me.

"That being said the reason why I reacted that way, seemingly OA or not, is because aside from being understandably emotional since it was the last two episodes of the The Buzz, the series of condescending remarks noticed by viewers through the years which I’ve constantly brushed off in the spirit of pakikisama also took a toll on me. I invite you to view replays of past episodes online and you’ll understand exactly where I’m coming from. Off cam, sometimes Kris acknowledges my presence and other times (like that Sunday, March 7) I would be ignored. I didn’t ‘walk out.’ After what I thought was commercial break I felt tears were starting to well up. I went back to my dressing room to compose myself but the tears wouldn’t stop.

"Third, my mom has nothing personal against Senator Noynoy and the Aquino family. She never attacked the good senator’s character. Just like you and I, mom has her own perspective and we should respect that. After all we do live in a democracy. Lastly, in the spirit of unity and our long tenure on The Buzz, I appreciate and accept her public apology. I will always remember my 3 years on The Buzz with great fondness. I will miss everyone dearly. Let us now move forward with dignity and honor. Love, love, love and peace, peace, peace! God bless us all."

Mas maganda ang naging offer kay Ryan Agoncillo ng TV5 kaysa sa GMA at ABS.

Tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang Talentadong Pinoy sa TV5 hosted by Ryan dahil nasa all new season na ito simula Marso 13. Ang hatid ng number one talent show, mas malaking set, mas malaking chance ng pagkapanalo ng mas malalaking premyo. Dagdag pa rito, may bagong bonggang talent scout na si Ruffa Gutierrez, at twice a week na not just every Saturday but also Sunday both at 7:30 p.m..

Now, Ryan has recently signed up a three-year non-exclusive contract with TV5. May offer din daw both ang Kapuso at Kapamilya stations and both are very impressive offers pero may isang condition leave Talentadong Pinoy. Kaya sa TV5 pumirma si Ryan dahil bukod sa non-exclusive ito, pinayagan pa siya to stay sa Eat Bulaga.

Hindi lang yun, may clause din ang contract niya that he can do an ABS show as long as si Judy Ann Santos ang partner niya.

Comedy muli ang SRO Cinemaserye with Hot Mama.

Mamaya magsisimula ang pinakabagong SRO after TeleBabad. This stars Eugene Domingo and Wendell Ramos sa direction ni Joel Lamangan. First time magu-all out comedy si direk Joel sa TV although rom-com ang last primetime niya noon na Adik Sa Yo. He is also reunited with two of his regular stars Eugene and Wendell.

Hot Mama is about the radio host sex guru na si Eugene who doesn’t practice what she preaches. Kung gaano kainit ang radio show niya, ganoon namang kalamig ang love life niya until pumasok sa buhay niya si Wendell who is totally in love with her but only to the image she portrays sa kanyang radio show.

It seems comedy is coming back big time sa GMA. The last SRO episode Meet The Fathers is comedy and so is the current Dear Friend na My Stalking Heart. This Saturday, magsisimula na naman ang pinakabagong sitcom ng GMA na Pepito Manaloto. Sa comedy kasi unang umarangkada noon ang GMA against its rival during the heydays of sitcom.

Now that pukpukan muli ang ratings, comedy must figure big time.

It’s final, papalitan na ni Paulo Avelino si JC de Vera sa Panday Kids.

We know how happy Paulo is since he posted his shout out sa Facebook niya na, "Blessings come one after another, don't agree? Open your eyes." Ang pinakaguwapo noon sa Starstruck IV and now GMA AC talent ang next in line sa mga future leading men of the Kapuso network and it will start with Panday Kids ng TeleBabad.

We knew that he will replace JC once he moves out of GMA but we don’t know kung ano ang magiging papel ni Paulo. Turns out that he will not just replace JC in the show but also the original character na Aureus, ang right hand man ng Guro played by Christopher de Leon. In effect, siya na rin ang makaka-partner ni Jackie Rice.

If only he and LJ Reyes will confirm, readymade na rin sana ang loveteam nila.
